Times of glory always fall So much to grind between us all Feel that grindstone as it turns Every stone was a lesson learned Ground to dust into the cracks The world goes 'round on everyone and nothing every lasts. We only have one moment on this land of sacred trust until it all gets ground to dust. There is a name under all By which we pay Peter from Paul What's your name? Say it now. Because on stone someday it shall be found Ground to dust into the cracks The world goes 'round on everyone and nothing every lasts. We only have one moment on this land of sacred trust until it all gets ground to dust. See the glory as it falls This fragile place we share between us all. When each headstone is in its place Where will be the human race? Hey what's that mark we thought to make? Nothing left for us to take, it's Ground to dust into the cracks The world goes 'round on everyone and nothing every lasts. We only have one moment on this land of sacred trust until it all, until it all, until it all gets ground to dust. Ground to dust.

I Think I Am 04:13
Walks with dad in the sunshine. Watching robins, with mom, in the spring. The helped me learn for the first time Those are some fine memories. I'm kinda mystified Life keeps moving; never quite sure why. Now life isn’t black and white, it’s colorful and crazy, a little hazy sometimes; but for the most part on the straight and narrow, I am. I think I am, I think I am. I am. I think I am, I think I am. How the wind blows every day re arranges things so often. A little wiser mistakes I am. I think I am, I think I am I am. I think I am, I think I am. Many things undefined but so in love with life I think I am I think I am Walk a while in the sunshine. Welcome robins every spring. Smile at someone for the first time. Introduce a mind to a new thing. Hear the wind harmonize. See the hope in my eyes. With all I’ve loved there is just one question; with all we share it’s a good connection; If you’re there, here’s my declaration I think I am I think I am I think I am, I think I am I think I am.

Hey Sunshine 03:25
Got a morning coffee put a dollar in her jar. Just a little something for the pain. Saw him in the doorway he had tattered jeans and a guitar Broken strings and subways in the rain. Hey sunshine, you're just fine. Everyone can smile sometimes. Just a little something for the pain. Just a little something, Just a little easy something. Just a little something for the pain. In the morning headline there's another thing to mourn Chalk outlines fade away. We forget sometimes and turn away from who we are. Fallen angels in the rain, but Hey sunshine, you're just fine. Everyone can smile sometimes. Just a little something for the pain. Just a little something, Just a little easy something. Just a little something... Life can happen 'til it's ugly. Anger gets a strangle hold but as I'm only looking for my morning coffee who am I? Oh who am I? Who am I to tell you so. Hey sunshine, you're just fine. Everyone can smile sometimes. Just a little something for the pain. Just a little something, Just a little easy something. Just a little something... See my own reflection and it's so hard to refrain Just a little something, Just a little easy something Just a little something for the pain.

This page of my life ink stained, blurry colors cry but don't ask why I made them do I? Found a lock of your hair cut away while I held your hand I understand the season's changing. Whatever went away at least had the chance to stay but I, I wrote your name today on the back of my hand. Gone away in the night running straight into colored lines these broken time connect us don't they Don't they scar our skin while the ink settles in staining like a sin on the back of my hand I can't chose the way that you let my thoughts remain if you blame them for your sorrow Let it scar my skin while the ink settles in staining like a sin on the back of my hand Gone away in the night running straight into colored lines these broken times connect us don't they. I could not make you stay. The ink began to fade, oh but I, I know so well this pain. I felt your touch today on the back of my hand. The back of my hand

That place by the pond Windows boarded shut Doors have all been locked Everything forgotten A broken fairy tale From once upon a time But time no longer cared And left it all behind Did you put a penny in the pond a penny in the pond a penny in the pond Did you put a penny in the pond a penny in the pond one day? Did you put a penny in the pond a penny in the pond a penny in the pond Did you put a penny in the pond a penny in to throw it all away? Gate around the back Briars over grown Water deep and black Where pennies all were thrown Cast into the mud All the fragile hope Pennies every one Wishes left alone Did you put a penny in the pond a penny in the pond a penny in the pond Did you put a penny in the pond a penny in the pond one day? Did you put a penny in the pond a penny in the pond a penny in the pond Did you put a penny in the pond a penny in to throw it all away? There was a little girl A sparkle in the fountain One ribbon by the stone Her family name upon it A penny for each thought A prayer sent away For every penny tossed Into a silent grave Did you put a penny in the pond a penny in the pond a penny in the pond Did you put a penny in the pond a penny in the pond one day? Did you put a penny in the pond a penny in the pond a penny in the pond Did you put a penny in the pond a penny in to throw it all away? To throw it all away? To throw it all away.

Earth, sky and water support all the people high and low A natural order of beauty and life in a flow Let think about it what we don't see The ocean's water lives and breaths, a home to many. Let's sing about Home, home, home, The Ocean is a home. Home, home, home, The Ocean is a home. Waves in the ocean are driving the wind around the globe The pure rain water begins in the sea for clouds to grow on Lets learn about it what we can't see The Ocean' waters live and breathe, a home to many, Lets sing about Home, home, home, The Ocean is a home. Home, home, home, The Ocean is a home. Deep in the Ocean or in the corals right off shore That salty potion is where all life on earth was formed and lets think about it where life began it's time to shout it Let's hear every woman, child and man Let's sing about Whales are singing, whales always singing, whales always singing at home. Life is teeming; new life beginning, the Ocean is their home Home, home, home, The Ocean is a home. Home, home, home, The Ocean is a home. Home, home, home, The Ocean is a home, to many creatures, Home, home, home, The Ocean is a home.

Rising Up 03:25
Halfway back from where I started Halfway down that worn out track Half a mind don't always make it Halfway home and fading fast. Threw away those broken pieces keeping me weighed down. Getting mind and soul to face that Half a heart can never make it. Better be rising, rising, rising, rising up; Rising, rising, rising, rising up Rising, rising, rising; rising up now. Every day a million choices; every choice another chance Bringing all I have to face that at this point I have to make it. Better be rising, rising, rising, rising up; Rising, rising, rising, rising up Rising, rising, rising; rising up now. If I go it alone, strong and on my own Half a lie-half a chance; halfway back again but fading fast. Every day a million choices; every choice another chance Got to raise a host of voices so we all can share the dance. I've got to be rising, you want to be rising we need to be rising Rising up Rising, rising, rising, rising up Rising, rising, rising; ...rising up now.

In a sleepy little place called Tinkertown there’s a mystery of sorts. Two manikins, a girl and a guy, are dressed out on a porch. Depending on the weather, he and she outside are suitably dressed and together they sit like people on a porch. When I’m driving by- I slow down to see. I feel like such a spy- what are they wearing? It’s kinda rude to pry but not like I can go up and say hi. (That’s crazy.) Those people on the porch. Weird people on the porch. And I’m the dummy watching this fashion mystery, and wishing now that I never did see those people on the porch. In the winter they wear scarves and hats, ski jackets, and warm pants. Summertime it’s beach attire; margaritas in their hands. It’s fun to watch their story, soap opera quality, like that week they refused to speak; with backs turned stubbornly. It damned near made me cry- such a tragedy! I wanted them to try! What’s come over me? I called a flower guy but hung up when he started asking? why..exactly? (Don’t ask me!) Weird people on the porch. And I’m the dummy watching this fashion mystery. and wishing now that I never did see those people on the porch. Then one day in Fall- I could hardly breathe. They were not there at all. What was happening? That’s it, once and for all! I went up to the railing, I didn’t stop to think but then I saw the notice with so much great relief. (“On va-ca-tion!”) Ah! Those people on the porch. Weird people on the porch. For years they’ve been together, loyal night and day; still a mystery but I’m glad to see those people on the porch. Weird people on the porch. My people on the porch.

Spider web in the window catching dream I've ignored When I wake every morning something climbs to the corner. A single thread reality woven into mystery opens up the possibilities of that web in the corner tangled up in me. Spider hangs in the dawning, just above my eyes When I wake every morning truly a surprise. A single thread reality woven into mystery opens up the possibilities of that web in the corner oh that web in the corner that web in the corner tangled up in me. Maybe everything could be trapped in a web in the corner that lives in a dream. Nobody's told me the reason for dreaming. How can I see by closing my eyes to that web in the corner oh that web in the corner, that web in the corner tangled up in me.

China Shoppe 03:42
Someone in the China Shoppe waits. Minutes into hours fade. Do not strike the glass for if it breaks, it can't go back. Love was born of fire, long, long ago. Turning desire into the mold every beating heart became, and, in time, remains, stronger than the glass you can not see broken in me. Hope left behind still beating, beating Hoping you'll find all the pieces keeping where I locked them away all the fragile things lay now in the china shoppe case. Every beating heart became and in time remains stronger than the glass you can not see broken in me. Someone in the china shoppe waits minutes into hours fade Do not strike the glass for if it breaks it can't go back.

Daylight is fading away now. Come here and sit by my side. The wishing star is the first out. and It's always there in your eyes, oh, My amazing child In between the dark and the light. Breathing together. Holding the moment, and when it's over, we'll be fine. Deepening soft into twilight I feel you reach for my hand. Flickering stars hear us whisper They number more than the sand. My amazing child In between the dark and the light. Breathing together. Holding the moment, and when it's over, we'll be fine. Wish I may. wish I might have the wish I wish tonight. Nothing is lost in the darkness everything hidden, is there. other things may come between us but I'll still be holding your hand. My amazing child In between the dark and the light. Breathing together. Holding the moment, and when it's over, we'll be fine.

A filly foaled at dawn My daughter had seen the wonder and instantly made the bond They would ride- into the wind. This is a tale Combed and braided A filly and girl who share a spirit. Growing up, sure enough The year they played was plenty To teach the trust and love They would ride, Into the Wind. Working on the farm, After the chores comes freedom in pastures from the barn They would ride- into the wind. This is a tale Combed and braided A filly and girl who share a spirit. There’s only one stretch of time Youth is alive with passion I feel it racing by As they ride- into the wind. Warm night Porch light, Dinner’s waiting But I smile, with pride Watching them ride Thunder of hooves at night The crest of the moon to light them Capturing souls in flight As they ride- into the wind. This is a tale, combed and braided A filly and girl share a spirit.

Past the hedge and through the fence He had muscle, I had sense his had freckles, mine had none dirty faces having fun, and Down the path until we reached the bog Hidden raft behind the hollow log up ahead, there's trouble to get it while we played Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. Grubby fingers; grassy knees we caught frogs and we climbed trees his was red; mine was brown heads together all around town In the river, through the weeds, built a fort between the willow trees he was funny, I had style true companions all the while Down the path until we reached the bog Hidden raft behind the hollow log up ahead, there's trouble to get it while we played Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. Army guys; tonka trucks; secret spies running out of luck All good things, or so they say, seem to change in just one day. Mine are brown, his were blue, he was a boy and thought I was one too. 'Til he learned I was a girl seemed to shatter his whole world Found him hiding up in a tree told him "land sakes, I'm still me!" Down the path until we reached the bog Hidden raft behind the hollow log up ahead, there's trouble to get it while we played Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. La, la, la, la, la, it was me and him, La, la, la, la, la Huckleberry Finn La, la, la, la, la.

Life as a carefree rover means that I"m starting over that's fine, here i go again. it's all just what I've made it nothing too complicated things all work out in the end and I know now, what happened then, and I'm all right where I'm at because I've been there and done that. Married at seventeen, it wasn't a teenage dream but motherhood was good for me. We had a happy home, though I raised the kids alone love made us a family. and I know now, what happened then, and I'm alright where I'm at because I've been there and done that, ya, I've been there and done that been right being wrong been weak being strong got wise when the day was done the lesson's what I won. For the almighty dollar, I wore a heavy collar sometimes in white, or in blue Working for fruits of labor Lost like a drunken sailor Treasure I never knew but I know now, what happened then, and I'm alright where I'm at because I've been there and done that, ya, I've been there and done that been broke and abused done everything I thought I had to do got best, when the worst was done, the lesson's what I won. Been there and done it over now I'm a carefree rover thankful for all that I see Nothing too complicated loving that I have made it perfect simplicity. Don't matter where the wind will blow storms always pass I'll follow where my heart will go 'cause I've been there and done that. Ya, I've been there and done that.

There's a lazy crescent moon tonight laying back on a pillow of sky gazing up at the stars everywhere wishing everyone a fond good night Twilight tuckin' in Twilight tuckin' in Twilight, crescent moon good night Twilight tuckin' in. There's a wandering star out there had a restless heart it seems took itself away and now, in the dark alone it dreams, oh Twilight tuckin' in Twilight tuckin' in Twilight, crescent moon goodnight, your smile's bright. Twilight tuckin' in Twilight tuckin' in Twilight, crescent moon, good night, you smile because your mother's near. There's a lazy crescent moon tonight laying back on a pillow of sky gazing up at the stars everywhere wishing everyone a fond goodnight gazing up at the stars, everywhere wishing everyone a fond good night. Twilight tuckin' in.
